When will my car be picked up?
Free towing is included with all the cars we buy, which typically happens within a few days after accepting the offer. If online scheduling isn’t available in your area, our team will work with you over the phone to schedule you.
What documents do I need to sell my car?
We can work around most cars with a mishmash of titles, such as clear titles, salvage titles, junk titles, and sometimes cars with no title.
In some states, we can use alternate documents to prove ownership in place of a missing title or if the title has issues. Car documentation can vary from state to state or buyer to buyer.
In some states, signing or notarizing titles is needed before pickup. That said, owners should NOT fill in the ‘buyer’ name section of their title before pickup. Peddle can’t make offers on abandoned vehicles, so review your local regulations or reach out to local authorities for abandoned cars.
When do I get paid and how?
You get paid on the spot.
Our tow truck driver will pay at the time of pickup, usually with a business check. It’s safer that way, so they aren’t riding around with bags of cash for cars, and it helps us track payments and ensure the correct amount was paid.

What happens during the pickup?
On pickup day, the driver will call when they’re on the way to tow your car free of charge, so no drop-off is needed from you.
When our pickup partner arrives, they’ll quickly inspect the vehicle to make sure everything matches the car’s condition information you provided when you got the offer.
They’ll see if your car starts and drives, check the mileage, and make sure your paperwork is signed correctly. Then, they’ll collect the keys and pay you on the spot so you can cash in on your old car.
Can the offer amount change? Can I change my mind?
If the description you provided matches the condition of your car during pickup, your offer amount will not change once it’s accepted. There are no bait-and-switch tricks, but we may adjust your offer to align with the actual condition of your car if we find any discrepancies.
For instance, if your car suddenly doesn’t start during the inspection, is missing a major component like the catalytic converter, or has higher than the reported mileage, the offer amount could be recalculated on the spot to reflect the actual current market value.
